Many things have happened here at Audio Realms, too many to mention right here, right now. For the time being, there has been some basic updates on the website with many new products added with even more coming in the next couple of weeks.
The AudioBook Shop has been relaunched for downloadable audiobooks www.theaudiobookshop.com
We have partnered with Dorchester Publishing and Leisure Paperbacks for new lines of Urban Horror and Paranormal Romance.
I will post the press release and more information shortly.

PODCASTS!!
Hey y'all this is just a short post to let you know that The Rising by Brian Keene is now shipping and the reviews for it are very good.

And FINALLY after a long time ... our first podcast is up and running.

It is Dagon by H. P. Lovecraft as a first experiment and after we confirm it is working then we will start podcasting your free audio books on a regular basis.

It's Show Time!

Hi,
I have started posting again .. finally.. but been absent for a few weeks. It is the spring horse season and my daughter shows Arabians I have been out of town a fair amount in the past month. Right this moment I am in Lexington Virgina for the Region 15 Championships. After this weekend I get a 6 week break where I can keep up with the releases and updates.

With that said, new Robert E. Howard this month as it ran a little later than last month. The Dark Worlds of H. P. Lovecraft Volume 7 (The Case Of Charles Dexter Ward) will hopefully be released this month as well (hoping that Wayne June's schedule will allow for it) as well as The Rising by Brian Keene which is in final check and editing. We have started Bram Stokers Lair of the White Worm for which we have a wonderful Tom Baxa cover.

We have just released The People That Time Forgot and Out of Time's Abyss to complete ERB's Caprona Series.

The website has had numerous changes already posted with another large batch that I will post as soon as I return. (I am afraid to do it from here in case there is a problem)

In the coming weeks there will be news on the latest Elric as well as the schedule for the final pieces.

Last big news, the podcasts will start next week!

I have to go, there are stalls to be cleaned.

Howard's Conan and website upgrades

This is just a quick post.
We will be releasing "People of the Dark" by Robert E. Howard during the month of June. It is all recorded except for "Queen of the Black Coast", our first Conan the Cimmerian story to be published as well as Haunter of the Ring that was a collaboration with H. P. Lovecraft. The cover art is by Ken Kelly.

During the next week we will be updating the website to include material from our Dark Realms and Dark Desires imprints as well as making all of our products available as MP3 downloads directly from the Audio Realms website.

Back and blogging

Ok, so it has been a while since we last updated.
I am going to do these updates in stages ... mostly so I will have a reason to keep up the journals and my blog.

First, we have worked most of the bugs out of the new website, anyone who is missing an order should expect to see it over the next week. I will not go into the issues, that would be a whole book. But do please let us know if you encounter anymore bugs.

We have restructured many things, the main being that we have signed on with NBN (National Book Network) as our exclusive sales agency, this is really exciting. They are already working on getting all the wholesale lines corrected and new ones in place so our product is easily available. We will still sell directly from the website but everything else is through them.

Last for now is the start of our new imprint Dark Realms Audio ( www.darkrealmsaudio.com ) which is specifically for Urban Horror which is very graphic and cutting edge. Mature Listeners only please.The first two productions are now available here and for download and www.theaudiobookshop.com.

That is all for now, I will keep you posted and expand on things in the coming weeks.

Robert E Howard and Lovecraft are shipping!

Hey y'all, I'm back blogging ... with my luck it will go out of style now.

First,
Shadow Kingdoms, a collection of stories by Robert E. Howard is now shipping. It is a 5 CD set that includes King Kull and Solomon Kane stories. The cover features Ken Kelley artwork.

Second,
The Dark Worlds of H. P. Lovecraft Volume 5 is shipping. It is a 3 CD set featuring The Thing on the Doorstep, Haunter of the Dark and The Lurking Fear. I think that it is our best Lovecraft work to date.

We have started Michael Moorcock's The Weird of the White Wolf and should have the voicework done in about 2 weeks. We have a new reader named Bob Barnes who is replacing Jeff West. His voice characterizations are incredibly distinct and have more personality than before. I should be posting a sample along with the cover art in about a week. We will be offering something special inside, either a bonus CD or a booklet for people that purchase it from our website. I will make that announcement in about a week as well. As usual Dalmazio Frau has done a fantastic piece for the cover.

Well, that's it for now, I have been working too many hours in the past few weeks so I am taking my wife out on a date tonight. I am also taking the weekend off to see my daughter ride in a horse show.
